Student Health Insurance
The university strongly recommends all students maintain private health insurance or participate in the Student Health Insurance Plan while enrolled at TU. Information on the Student Health Insurance Plan is available here. International students taking one (1) or more credit hours are required to purchase the Student Health Insurance Plan and the premium for coverage is added to their tuition billing.
Please note that health insurance may be required for students participating in intercollegiate athletics or based on enrollment in particular academic programs. Please consult with your program director to find out if you are required to maintain health insurance while enrolled at TU. Students who are required to have Student Health Insurance you will be automatically enrolled and the cost of coverage is added to their university bill each semester. However, the charge will be removed upon verification of other appropriate coverage.
Verification must be received by September 15 for students enrolling in the fall and January 31 for students enrolling for the first time in the spring
If you have adequate coverage, you can opt-out of the university’s coverage by clicking the link below and completing the required documentation.
